Clubhouse Dress Code Policy

As the oldest golfing society in the world we are proud of our history and traditions. We trust our members and visitors to dress in acceptable clothing at all times to retain this reputation.

We accept that all members and guests understand that appropriate golfing clothing and footwear should be worn on the course and that a smart appearance is required in the clubhouse and on the course.

On the course:  No denim jeans or tee shirts

In the clubhouse:  Smart casual clothing with jackets and tie in the Members bar (at all times) and in the dining room at weekends.

The General Manager, his staff and the Society Professional and his staff are authorised to request those who, in extreme cases, are deemed to be inappropriately dressed to change their apparel or leave the clubhouse or the course.
